Invest

Invest with the same playbook the wealthy use.

KoBank is preparing a clear way to review fixed-tenor opportunities, supporting documents, eligibility, and risk information before making a decision.

How it works

Four steps. No private banker required.

Each offer is a fixed-tenor debt instrument issued by a vetted entity. You subscribe, the issuer uses the funds for working capital, and you receive principal plus a fixed coupon at maturity.

Step 01

Review an available note

When offers open, the issuer, rate, tenor, minimum, risk rating, close date, and offer documents will be visible before you commit.

Step 02

Subscribe in-app

Enter your amount, review the terms, acknowledge the risks, and authorise with your transaction PIN. Funds move from your wallet into the subscription flow.

Step 03

Follow the stated tenor

The offer documents will state the tenor and liquidity rules. KoBank will track the principal, expected payout, and maturity date.

Step 04

Receive payout

At maturity, principal plus coupon is credited to your wallet automatically, subject to the specific offer terms and issuer performance.

Risk disclosure

Read this. Then decide.

Investments in private notes and commercial paper carry risk. They are not bank-guaranteed, not NDIC-insured, and capital can be lost in part or in full.

  • Credit risk. If an issuer defaults, you may lose part or all of your principal. KoBank's underwriting reduces this risk, but it does not remove it.
  • Liquidity risk. Most notes are held to maturity. Early exit is not supported on most series. Do not subscribe with money you'll need before the tenor closes.
  • Past performance. Historical returns do not guarantee future returns. Rates can change quarter to quarter.
  • Regulatory. An opportunity will be published only when the required product structure, documents, eligibility rules, and risk disclosures are ready.

Good questions

About investing with KoBank.

What is the difference between Save and Invest?+

Save is designed around contributions and goals. Invest refers to opportunities that can put capital at risk. The provider, structure, terms, and protections for each live product will be shown before you commit.

How does KoBank vet issuers?+

Each issuer goes through credit review before listing. The app shows issuer details, documents, tenor, rate, maturity date, and risk language before subscription.

Can I sell a note before maturity?+

Generally no. Most notes are designed to be held to maturity, and early redemption is not available on most series. Keep short-term cash in wallet or savings instead.

What happens if an issuer defaults?+

The final offer documents will explain the responsible parties and recovery process. Recoveries are not guaranteed, and you may receive less than your principal or nothing.

Are returns taxed?+

Coupon income may be taxable. KoBank can provide statements, but you should consult a qualified tax adviser for your situation.
